But have you seen how many times the thread has been viewed? ;)
  • not even going to entertain putting in my details on an unencrypted site your asking for your details to be hacked if you do peeps i know its free chocolate but your asking for your details to be hacked.

    \sigh\

When you registered for MSE, you provided the same, if not more, information unencrypted (MSE uses javascript to md5 the passwords, the rest of the information is sent unencrypted). Every time you send an email you are sending this, if not more, information unencrypted.

The only reason to use a 128-bit encryption certificate is to provide a near unbreakable encryption when sending *confidential* information. This is to hash bank details, credit card details, mothers maiden name etc etc ...

The information on their page isn't confidential to you ... how else would people email you/know your forum name etc? However, you don't go telling people your PIN number, and they aren't asking for that sort of information ...

Looking forward to my choccies :)
