Zenith Windows - Get £50 off

I have just ordered some windows of Zenith Windows. I thought they were the most secure out of all the ones I saw but this post is not to try to sell you double glazing.

I have a book of recommendation cheques. If you are thinking of getting something from Zenith and have not contacted them yet, let me introduce you and we can split the £100 I get 50/50.

As soon as I get payed I will forward a cheque for £50.

PM me if you wish to give it a go.

WARNING. Do not do this unless you are interested in them otherwise you will be subjected to a 2 hour presentation on windows. We had already decided to buy but still had to sit through the presentation.

  • Be very careful of Zenith or Bowater Zenith. I chose them to install the windows at a previous house - absolute nightmare. Hope it goes better for you but keep a very close eye on the fitters
  • Zeniths Windows leak big time stay away they don't have the rubber seal and when they expand they let in water a friend of mine had there windows about 3 years ago he has had them out about 15 times and has now had them all replaced .

Although the Product was of a high standard I had some problems getting some installation faults rectified (hint dont pay the balance untill all work is done to your full satisfaction).
Apart from the above I would not recommend or consider using Zenith again, They are of the old school using high pressure sales. They give you all the old codswallop starting with the 2 hour presentation then it goes on to 5 windows will be £20000, a dutch auction follows with `show house` discounts, many calls to the guvenor each shaving a few pounds off untill the actual price is reached.  This is of course only available on the night. These salesmen are also pretty persistant and will keep the pressure on for as long as it takes.

This is to minimise the possiblity of you contacting a local trader recommended by someone you know who will visit, measure up, discuss your requirements etc, point out some of his work locally and tell you the real price straight away,  leave and let you make your mind up at leisure.

Incidentally, once Zenith have your phone number it is almost impossible to stop the evening sales calls.

Yes I am trying to put you off!!

  • Our house is over 3 floors. When we bought it there was double glazing on only the middle floor. CHEAP double glazing that whistles whent the wind catches it right, rattley handles and look cheap. As we didn't want any maintenance issues with windows on the 3rd floor we went with Zenith because of their reputation. One window was fitted with a huge scratch which was replaced as soon as they had made a replacement. But the biggest window's outside payne was smashed on arrival, it was fitted and a replacement made ASAP. Which then arrived the wrong size! A new one was made and then all was fine. Since installation they have been fine.

The salesmen are pushy, if you want a quote from Zenith make sure you have had visits from 2 other companies first so you can compare and get them to lower their quote. 'Showhome' is a load of nonsence. Avoid their fianance deal as it's expensive.

Hubbie is a copper, he went to an attempted break-in. They didn't get in as the house had Zenith windows. So we decided to have used them for our ground floor windows and doors too. No problems this time. When these were sold to us we really laid it on about knowing their sales tricks and not signing up then & there, we also got them to take a big discount off for the mess ups on the last installation.

We were happy in the end. The last thing I wanted was to buy from a two-bit company. My father in law is a roofer, who has also dabled in double glazing, which just goes to show anyone can do it, therefore a variety of quality is out there. Of course, go by recomendations.

Erm, went on a bit there!
