I'm no Techie but just bought 17'' flat screen for home PC. Somerfield ,Tyldesley, Greater Manchester - cost £99. Using it now seems OK

When you say flat screen do you mean TFT or Flat CRT?

A 17" wouldnt be far off a 19" CRT in terms of viewing space. So big improvement over a 15" CRT. Although the normal price isnt all that muhc difference to what you cna get else where.

I am not overly demanding, worked straight away, easy to set up, colour ok, on board speakers tinney so use ones currently on PC. Lots more room on desk and as you say, £50 off from about a month ago. Happy so far - but thewn I have only had it 2.5 hours.

I paid £149 for the Medion one ALDI were selling at the end of November. Don't know if it's the same model but I'm pleased with mine.

I bought a Cybercom 18.1 inch tft screen from Staples a couple of years ago.
This tft was made by Medion and has performed without any problems.
