60 pound refund for those recieving age allowance?

in Cutting tax
my elderly mother gets age allowance but is still a tax payer.She hasnt had her 60 pounds rebate.Does she qualify or has it been allowed for by the tax band changes for oldies

It's considered to be included in the substantial age related allowance this past year. So 'the refund' only applies to under 65.If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0

Can't have that. There's some more precise info here on the HMRC site if that will divert her intention to end your inheritance prematurely! :
