New Laptop - Around £500

Hi all,

Im looking for a new laptop and obviously want the best value for money.

I'm looking to spend around £500 - anyone any ideas on what the best deals are at the moment.

I do shop on ebay so if i see one i like for more than £500 then i might be able to get it cheaper on here.

there a decent spec dell laptop gong for £339 inc delivery....thinking of getting it myself, anyway check it out

I would recommend NOT to use ebay (where there are high risks for expensive items like laptops) and go to a real dealer.

My suggestion is for ebuyer.co.uk, which has at least five good laptops below 500 pounds (inc vat). Check out full specs here:

The Acer one in particular has good specs with AMD Sempron 3000+, 256MB, 40GB HD, DVD±RW, 15", LAN, XP. At 399 inc vat looks really good.
It is also top-seller and there is a good reason for this...
