Seeing as Christmas is nearly upon us, and Santa has a penchant for electronic toys, we are all likely to need a huge amount of AA and AAA batteries to get through the christmas holidays. The requirements are simple. Batteries must be Alkaline, can be any brand (or non-branded), as in tests for medium/low drain…

Not alkaline tho. just ordinary zinc-czrbon.

However they (Poundland) do have Batman Begins packs with a keyring and 8 "super" alkaline AA batteries. A month ago the had packs of 12 alkalines but they , like the NiMHs disappear quickly.
