Muscadet Ladies Who Lunch ~ Le Cercle

Well I was very exited when I was notifed by email that I had won a lunch and wine tasting to Le Cercle in Knightsbridge, London next week. However, in looking around the forums on this site it seems that this prize has been offered a lot from different online sites.
Is it me being very sceptical or can anyone tell me if this is a sales thing to get you to buy some expensive wines??
I would welcome any comments.

Lots like a decent prize to me! Unless any of the older and wiser heads on the board have a different view I'd go for it and have a great time!0

I won this last month, and because it clashed with work, I couldn't go, so I gave it to my friends. They had a great time - it's a proper lunch matched with wine, and they were both fairly merry by the end of it! They also got a goody bag of a bottle of wine and a posh bottle opener/wine stopper thing. They're not trying to sell anything, the only slight drawback is you need to allow plenty of time - at least 2 hours - as it's all conducted at a very leisurely pace. I'd go and enjoy yourself, the food was supposed to be excellent, as was the wine (and my friends were very amused by the host who kept saying MOOSE-caday!)2015 comp wins - £370.25
Recent wins: gym class, baby stuff
Thanks to everyone who posts freebies and comps! :j0 -

Congrats on your first win!
I hope you have a wonderful time, just remember don't take your car - get a lift as it sounds like you could be having a few good drinks!
Sad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out

I won one of these last month and went along and had a great time! It takes a couple of hours and had (i think!) 8 glasses of wine. We left feeling very tipsy! The food was great, but very small portions, we had to go and find a pub for some chips afterwards.
Theres a quiz at the end so take a pen and take notes as he goes through all the talk of the wine as the winner gets a case of wine.
I would highly reccommend it0 -
Worth noting that you might see a particular prize offered across a number of sites and it's all genuine. It all comes down to marketing campaigns - a particular company will offer several sites the same prize but it's legit and you can enter all the comps if you want.
