Hi There

I was wondering can I claim charges made on my mortgage account, I tried to claim back an exit fee that I was charged and they said it was part of the terms that I had sign up to.????

Why did you think you could claim back something you explicitly agreed to when you entered the contract?

If they have increased the exit fee since you took out the mortgage, you can claim back the difference between what you were originally told and the new higher amount.

If this figure has not changed, then you have nothing top claim back

    This thread here might help.
