Cheapest Minidiscs wanted ?

Hi, I am looking to purchase about 10 to 20 blank minidiscs. The cheapest I can find is approx 85p each, that is from a local electronic supplier in Birmingham.

Please help, I need this cheaper. Thanks

Richersounds sell the blank MD80's (Maxell) for 79p each. Less for the MD74 if they have any in stock.

Apart from that worth checking larger local supermarkets as they sometimes have the 5 packs on special offer.

eBay seems to be around £3 for 5 discs + P&P which would take it to over 90p a disc. Unless you don't mind pre-owned discs.

Comet have packs of 10 from £7.99 for I think Imation (3M), Staples used to sell them too.

I have collected tons of 'great deal' blanks over the years and don't really use them now in quantity .. easily have about 20 spare ... you could have em free for the price of the postage but that would mean it costing more than you buying them anyway ....

It's nice to see people helping each other out on here.

I bought a load of BASF 74-minute blanks ages ago for 40p each thinking my flatmate or I would use them but we haven't yet. They're still shrink-wrapped and although I can't afford to send them for free (money's tight) you can have whatever you need for the same price I paid if it helps you out, Jaspal.

PM me if this is any good to you. The post office is at the end of my street anyway so I could post them on Monday if you haven't already bought some by then.

Oh, and I won't be at all offended if you take up Musicboy's generous offer instead (good on you mate).

I have just counted 'em and I have 120 blank discs .... blimey ... I used loads at first but now (without boring you lot with the detail) I use them to record my vinyl onto minidisc to get the level right before encoding them to mp3 .... wow eh.

I will happily send you 40 assorted colours, TDK and Sony, 74 and 80 mins if you wanna send me a tenner through Paypal at music.boy@virgin.net and send me your address to the same, Jaspal.

Get me while I'm in the xmas spirit (which I aren't .... )
