With American interest rates now slashed to 1%, can i get a mortgage at American rates ????

Exchange rates might put a dampener on your idea.
You would be hard pushed to find an american lender that would mortgage you over here anway.0 -
One big pitfall is that US mortgage rates are nowhere near 1% (I posted the ING US rate on another thread - currently 5.46%).0
