Hi Argos board,
I hope one of the Argos experts on this board will be able to answer a query.
I purchsed a TV instore last week, I paid in full (using vouchers) and was given a delivery of three weeks. Now the item is out of stock and is not available to order.
My question is would it be normal for Argos to take my payment only if they can definately supply the item. Or, do they do sometimes take payment and then cancel and refund ?
Do you get what I mean ?
Regards

If the item is now out of stock online i would say it shouldn't affect your purchase as once you've paid yours should have been allocated to you..
i'm not an expert tho0 -
i ordered some white goods for my kitchen a few years ago i was told delivery would be in 28 days so i got my kitchen prepared...it was october. then i got a letter saying my goods would be delivered at the end of febuary! when i rang them my small freezer was out of stock....even tho my cooker, fridge freezer, washer, dryer and dish washer were in stock they wouldnt seperate the order i went to my local store and demanded a refund they spoke on the phone to home delivery who confirmed they wouldnt deliver the items seperatly or just cancel the small freezer so they had to open up the safe and give me a full refund. I would ring home delivery and ask if they have an expected delivery time for you....ive always found them helpfull....if they are out of stock they will tell you when there next due in.0
