best unsecured loan with no early redemption fee

Trying to find the lowest fixed interest rate for an unsecured loan of
17k for debt consolidation over 7 years, without PPI, and with
no early redemption fees.
I know that will put the rate up a bit, but I just have a thing about
ER fees and always try avoid them (perhaps I'm eternally optimistic
that some large pot of money will turn up...). Credit rating is good.

I've looked on some of the comparison sites but I have found that they
give incorrect info regarding early redemption fees.

Best I've come up with is Intelligent Finance at 7.1%

Anyone got any better suggestions?

Don't know if this helps, but in October I applied to A&L for an £18000 loan over 6yrs @5.7%. They refused. There was an email address if you wished to appeal and I did so because I didn't feel there decision was fair.

I gave them all the info I could saying I would happily provide all supporting documents.

They phoned me a couple of days later and after a fairly short conversation I was offered the £18000 for 6 years @ 5.5%!!
