mortage direct debit charges reclaim

hello there, we are just about to complete on our house my wife had her own mortgage and i had a interest repayment , i borrowed 105,000 and now they want 109,000 back,. they are charging us money for DIRECT DEBITS that were not paid. so like the banks charge 35 pounds they are charging as well , CAN WE CLAIM THESE BACK, do they have a right to charge that much,

Were they because of payment 'holidays' or breaks? Because interest still accrues in that case.0 -
If you had a mortgage and failed to keep up the payments on it you can hardly blame the lender for charging you.0
