Difficult position, though you have the fallback that you could work if necessary? I'd certainly be applying for jobs in that area, and we would be using that for any permitted overpayment/savings/non-essential spending and saving when/if it became available.
We are undecided as yet, and will be for while, what we will do in practise (continue as we are or proceed with this) but we certainly wanted to know what our options are.
Yes, its nic to know we can get it and the bank are 'supportive' but whethr it is wise or not, well, that is another matter. Gosh....to se the futur really would be handy wouldn't it?:o0
