Thanks for your blessing, Tinkerbell - I did respond and also expanded to advise that no where does it say that Brokers have to have a signature, so surprised you felt it your duty to point this out, maybe you are a...0

DBcooper, you are right your situation is unusual, but not unique.
You need to speak to a Broker, who can help you source a number of lenders that have no minimum income and will lend to someone who does not live in the UK - Yough but by no means impossible, I can think of 5 lenders that would do this, no problem.
So what search term would I use for an Internet search?0 -
dbcooper, sorry do not understand what you mean - I am a Landlord, and as such have a number of Buy to lets, I know plenty of Ex pats that are in a similar position to you, living both in the EEC and out of EEC who have Buy to let mortgages, I would re-iterate that you would find a broker the person to speak to.0

Using the terms "mortgage broker" I get 100's of results. I've started to fill in 2 or 3 on-line application forms, but they all ask about my income and whether I want to self-certify it or not. I need to find a broker who looks beyond the fact that I don't have any employment earnings. Do you know any?0 -
The last thing you need is a million footprints on your credit file, by applying on every internet site you see. Ask around your friends for a broker recommendation. I live in Italy, so I'm not tied to any one area of the UK. I like the idea of a modern or converted appartment in a city centre. Any ideas?0
