dbcooper, sorry do not understand what you mean - I am a Landlord, and as such have a number of Buy to lets, I know plenty of Ex pats that are in a similar position to you, living both in the EEC and out of EEC who have Buy to let mortgages, I would re-iterate that you would find a broker the person to speak to.

Using the terms "mortgage broker" I get 100's of results. I've started to fill in 2 or 3 on-line application forms, but they all ask about my income and whether I want to self-certify it or not. I need to find a broker who looks beyond the fact that I don't have any employment earnings. Do you know any?

The last thing you need is a million footprints on your credit file, by applying on every internet site you see. Ask around your friends for a broker recommendation. Whereabouts are you?
