credit file

Hi everyone 
just recived my credit file and there is one 'credit thing' on there that has an s= settled/satified, does that mean it does not owe and the account is closed.
The effective dates were from 16/2/04 - 01/03/04 and I think it was a store card i think but i never signed and returned the agreement and never spent on it does that mean they just closed the account? if so will it eventully drop off my file?

settled means that the account is now closed.Debt at highest (November 2005) = £35,856
Debt currently (August 2006) = £20,790

Debt Free Date = February 2008 BUT I'M GOING TO BE TRYING FOR SOONER!!!
