My point was that shares are designed to make a profit, and I don't believe MSE is. By saying that it's either 1 of everything or nothing is childish. All I was saying was that there is something called a reasonable amount taken so that others can also have a part. No one is saying not to buy one item or a hundred items, it's when multiple ordering of the same item happens, things get out of hand which is exactly why amazon and carphone warehouse started to impose restrictions on the number of same item ordered with their recent phone deals.

I do not sell on Ebay but only because I am too bloody lazy to post the items and begrudge giving them their high charges. There is without a doubt a need for Ebay and it provides a service to many people who otherwise would pay much more in the shops.Having said that,it appears that people who can navigate around Ebay have no idea how to check prices at Dealtime etc and pay over the odds on many items. Hell--Don't knock it as it is plan B for me if I miss the offers on these threads. So lets not forget that Ebay helps sellers and buyers and seems to work quite well.
