Looks a good deal.
But....
I'm a little worried that there are so many refurbished, returns being sold off.
Perhaps they now something we don't.
90days might not be long enough:o0 -
Lovely - that pink keyboard and pink CRT monitor is so avant garde... :rotfl:Thanks to all who post constructively.
Have an A1 day!0 -
I suggest people think carefully before buying this as a Christmas gift.
It only has a 90 day 'return to base' warranty.
If someone receives this on Christmas Day they'll only have about a month that will be covered by a warranty! :think:0 -
Yeah...the 90 days warranty period is quite worrisome. Other than that, the specs are pretty good though. Should be alright for a home computer I suppose (somewhere it won't get knocked up so much :P)0

Apart from the fact that link has long expired, the HP had a Celeron processor and the price of 290 included a £50 cashback offer.
There was another lesser specified option for £260 inclusive of the cashback, but that too has gone.
If you really think that the OP's suggestion is too expensive for what it is, maybe you can point us towards something that is better value.
Otherwise....0 -

get a life donnie0 -
I'd be a bit wary of dealing with boffer. Bought a "brand new" photo frame from them which came badly scratched. Promptly returned it but they wouldnt refund the return postage saying item was not scratched...effectively calling me a liar. Certainly will never deal with them ever again. If you have a strong urge to deal with them and return something then before sending the item back
a. Take photographs of the item
b. Note down the serial number0 -
