  • I also do this. When I make a lasagne, moussaka or shepherds pie, I make it big enough (by padding out with oats, peppers and mushrooms) for 5-6 portions. That way me and my boyfriend have a portion each, then theres enough for him to take a portion home and a couple of portions for me which I freeze.
    Cake idea is great, I have to freeze the slices individually once the cake is made otherwise I'd eat the whole thing in about 3 evenings! LOL

  • i don't get chance to freeze it. Wahtever is leftover my boyf will have it for breakfast anything. i can't do that the thought of something like lasange for brekkie euh!!
    I have dyslexia, so get used to my spelling and grammar :)

    yep I do this and find it invaluable as it means that my four kids can all choose a meal they want to eat and they are all happy.I only do it once a week but it means that night of the week I dont have to cook:j
