I was only trying to look out of interest but shan't bother to keep trying then! lol. I just paid £35 for a 5ft tree from Kays but it was worth every penny of it . Thanks to OP though.0

That tree has always been £2.99,about 3wks ago i was looking for 1 for daughter,and we both thought how sad it looked then too.....:T It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice. :T

I bought a fantastic 7ft tree from Argos for £5 a couple of years ago. It was July but well worth putting away. I also bagged 120 twinkling lights for £1.50.
In January a friend was shopping in Tesco when a sales assistant begged her to buy a 5ft tree for £1. Now sits in our office.

It's not quite as thin at the picture makes out. Alright for a second tree if you wrap some tinsel round the lower half.
Can't complain at £3 though

We got one too. 7ft for a fiver in July a couple of years ago, just what I had gone into Argos for that day, had been £10 only the week before, bargin! Still using it. :xmassign:0 -
