    Viking Direct

I got a similar one with arms a few years ago, still going strong.
  • Hi
Stationery Box in Bishop Auckland have been pushing them hard the last month or 2 - even standing them outside in the rain. Maybe theres one in the Boro?

Yeah Viking direct have some good offers on chairs almost all the time. I got my chair few years ago, and I use it for many hours a day and its great, a little worn now at the front but who cares.
  • Stationery Box in Dumfries has them too. They're about £35 here, and have higher backs than the Viking Direct ones.

I bought a very reasonably priced operators chair a few months back from http://www.furnitureatwork.co.uk They have a massive range and always seem to have some nice special offers too. Definetely worth a look IMO. :)

Edit: Here's their entire range of leather 'executive' chairs - some of them have 60% off and look exceptional quality:-

Thanx for the link crube, I thought great I'll have a look at those but when I got to the site I had problems so I just wanted to let others know this too. I'm not sure why this is happening:

I went to look at the furnitureatwork site and thought I'd register for special offers and updates ect but as I went through the process every single page said some parts of the next page are not secure. I clicked dont display the non secure bits but at the end when I had to choose a password and everything goes through it said the site isnt secure and can be viewed by outside parties so I clicked do not continue with the registration, I just didn't feel right about that. I went back to the site again later to find I was logged in and registered. It says on the site too you can't change details without telephoning them(0870). I'm on medium security settings and use the net all the time for buying and I dont get those not secure warnings on other sites anywhere else, I wouldn't feel comfortable putting my card details through that site in those conditions. I don't like that its so difficult to de-register either. I've emailed them but so far no reply.

To just register they want name, address, telephone number so thats all on thier records and I cant get it off without ringing the 0870 number
    Thanx

Sorry to hear you've had some problems Lady K. Are you using Internet Explorer? I use Mozilla Firefox 95% of the time and never run into those kind of problems. However I do recall Internet Explorer flashing up too many security warnings which Firefox doesn't. I used Firefox when I visited Furniture At Work and didn't have any problems. Personally I don't trust Internet Explorer as it itself has too many security holes etc. I highly recommend Firefox. I hope you get the registration problem sorted out. :)
