Good Lego deal?

Options
I didn't realise you can get Lego for girls now! On holiday recently, my nephew bought a wee Lego toy, and my 6-year old daughter was more interested than him. So I thought I'd see what's avalailable for girls.

Does anyone think the above is a good deal?

Wow! lol :D Thanks for alerting me to the fact that there's Lego for girls as my 6 year old daughter has just discovered a bucket of her brother's old lego and is playing with it constantly. I think I'll give this deal a miss though!!

I always thought lego was genderless, like cars, spacestations, houses, etc?

My Mum used to make the most outlandish futuristic living pods with ours. :D

Me n little sis used to fight over the roof tiles and opening doors :D Takin me right back, this is.;)

I don't think little girls need everything pink. They will "freestyle" lego to build what interests them, when I was a kid and the range was smaller I used to build houses all the time. I would say that little figures are probably a good idea as the girls are more interested in them and less interested in "things with wheels on" than the boys.
And I always used to think that gender differences were caused by the way you were brought up - until i had a boy and girl!
  • Don't forget lego is still 3 for the price of 2 at woolworths.

Hi - Sorry for being late to respond. This kit looks really expensive! Why don't you buy a few of the cheaper Belville kits for the girly appeal - the horse and puppy maybe - and just a normal box of bricks with a base board. My little girl (aged 5.5) loves lego and whilst she really likes dolls and castles I don't think she would play with this set on amazon as much as the bricks - where she builds houses, furniture and gardens at a fraction of the price. It would also be 4 presents instead of 1 so your daughter will think she is getting loads!
