    Thanks all

I've got the application from work today - they infact pay 5% and I'd pay 6%. I think I'm going to sign up for it and save something in an ISA too. It's with the The Pension Trust

I was in very similar circumstances when I was in my mid 20's and didn't join the company scheme.
One of my worst financial decisions.

Think of it this way, had you joined in the first place, would you consider leaving the scheme now to spend the money on something else ?

It's an absolute no-brainer to join.

Hindsight is a wondeful thing! but I really didn't think I'd still be here! every 6 months it come right down to the line as to whether I'd get extended. Hoping to get pregnant next year and wheilst reading the maternity policy it states that my employer will contribute the full 5% of my annual salary whilst I'm on maternity leave so this swayed my decision!:T
