HI all

I hope some one can help me, i took a loan out for my car in April 2007, i then found out i was pregnant and took maternity leave for 6 months this year, i rang lloyds up to ask if i could take a months repayment break and if i could lower my monthly payments whilst i was off and add the extra to make my repayments for 34 months instead of 30 months, they agreed and my payments were reduced from 295 a month to 65 for 4 months, i went back to work and informed then i could start repaying my 295 a month again.
At this point i was told i had £1145 in arrears in which i had to repay before i could go back to my loan agreement and until that point i was in collections department. I managed to scrape together the money basically by borrowing from my parents,

ON the 22nd my agreed date they took, £1145 out on the 23rd they took £295 and on the 24th they took £400 out.

I rang to complain and they couldnt talk to me as i was no longer in collcetions department, i then went to my local branch who rang and tehy agreed the money would be back in my account on monday, its now tuesday been backto the branch who again have rang them and they say it will be back in tomoro, thing is my mortgage is due on fri and if its not ther ei will default on it.

I am really unhappy with all this mess as i was trying hard to get out of sticky situations.

what should i do? any advice would be gladly recieved.

Many thanks

Emma

    Hi Emma

Sorry to hear of your situation here.

Have you tried contacting the CAB (Citizens advice) or the Community legal service here:
    http://www.communitylegaladvice.org.uk/index.jsp

I have no experience in this but think the above will be able to help you through this.

I am sure something will be worked out for your advantage, good luck!;)

    Hi all

A lot of other stuff has gone on, since my original post, including lloyds giving me 1600 pounds in two installments over two days last month, i rang and told them it wasnt mine they insisted it was then had threatning phonecalls telling me i am in arearrs by that amount on my loan and i ahve to pay immediatly???

So any way i now have recived £50 in my bank account, i wasnt sure where it came from so rang lloyds and they tell me it is because of the messing around. I havent had a letter or anything? should i just accept this and if i do will it affect what the finacial ombudsman are doing for me?

    ANy Advice gladly recieved
