Hi gill, very sorry to hear of your troubles. Gmac are really not the best to deal with and i think you really need some specialist advice on this one. If memory serves, then they are an American based company specialising in self cert mortgages and they will be having flak at the moment themselves. Either repost this on the mortgage board for further advice, but i really would be going to citizens advice ASAP.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Hi
Please speak to one of the debt charities http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/loans/debt-help-plan#help
Also is there room for a lodger? You can charge up to £370 per month without incurring any tax liability.
And please post an SOA up here as well.
