Argos has a 24-piece cutlery set for just £2.99. Looks alright too!
It’s available in-store and online, though if you buy online you have to pay £5.95 postage.

The customer reviews on the Argos website don't leave much to be desired. :rolleyes:0

Well I got a set a while back and I think they're pretty good
Also got a set of these too and these are excellent aswell - I mean for £5.00 you can't go wrong.

They look quite good thanks. However I would strongly advise people not to purchase their 45 Piece Home Starter Kit. We bought one in July and the pots have all rusted, many of the knives have either snapped on the handle or simply come apart where the glue lost its hold and the can-opener doesn't work very well either.0

great spot for £30

I bought these a year ago, rusted and lost all shine. Wouldn't bother, unless you want a set for camping or picnics or work where you don't mind too much about quality.0

cant be bad for £3 espcecially for camping0

I purchased this cutlery set and had to send it back. It was really poor quality, thin and the metal edges were sharp! You only get what you pay for. I opted for a much dearer set. Please don't bother, you will be disappointed.0

Have one of these, it's not as good as the Asda Smartprice set I got as a student for a similar price... the Argos ones are flimsier and a bit 'rougher' round the edges.student100 hasn't been a student since 2007...0
