Left Over Toffee Sauce

As requested by my guests at the weekend I made a sticky toffee pudding and it was lovely. (A new recipie as I hast my old one!)

However I am left with lots of toffee sauce; made with double cream, brown sugar and butter. I hoped it would set as toffee but it hasn;t. I just don'e know what to do with it - I don't even know if it will freeze. There were five of us at dinner and I dout we used a quarter of the sauce! I live by myself and don't fancy making STP to eat up the sauce for the nest five weeks...

ANy ideas?
