The guy contacted me and apologised and offered to refund me 50p as he has dropped his price! Seems genuine and offered a refund if it fails.

Its a direct number into ticketmaster, you don't go through the switchboard so it seems pretty genuine. The guy has even emailed me three references to check which to be fair I am no bothered about because if i don't get the seats through the number he will refund me. Worse case its cost us £4 each!!

    Hi

Is this the same as the ticketmaster one and what do you mean by he has given you 3 references to check?

I am desperate to get tickets this time!

I have the priority phone number, but I presume you need a membership number to enable you to buy tickets??

Do you need a membership number when phoning this number?

When you are phoning one of these numbers to book tickets they only advertise one main number which will direct you through the switch board . depending on how many lines they have just change the last number or numbers from 1 to 9 and that will get you through to a specific extension off that switchboard ie 0845 23000
    0845 23001
    0845 23002 etc etc .

The ticketmaster office numbers are Manchester numbers 0161. You don't need a code its just direct to the office without the wait from the feedback given.

As much as I want to go to the Cardiff gig I am loathed to spend the best part of my day on the phones again with no success ( as was the result re the last tour )

I am sure I'll find an urge to try at least once................though.
