The weather station things are a bit of a gimmick.
I mean, how much does the weather change inside a house?0 -
I too got one of these last time. As others have said, the quality is poor, very poor.1.80 is only a small amount I know But my 1.80 worth is now in the waste bin , so money in my opinion not well spent.0

I got one last time around and it is still going strong and sat on my desk. ok two of the dials came upside down but very easily fixed and I calibrated it at the same time.
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:...... that's made my day
Are you sure it wasn't the third one that was upside down
Go on then, without looking out of the window what is the weather today then

well i got my ''weather station'' - and it looks cr*p but with free postage it was practically free anyway. if it works allright with battery will keep it but NO WAY can you give it as a present to anyone at all!!!! it's an insult to receive that :rotfl:
so beware of this website as it didn't give a very good overview.
however, it will teach me to not buy anything when tired. :eek:0 -
I got one today.
It says on instruction it takes AA batteries but it doesn't it takes 1xAAA batteries
It does look cheap but then again price was cheap.
BTW Hygrometer measures humidity, the thermometer says temperature in this rooms is 20c yet a few yards ways in same room another pone I have says its 16.5c which I think is more accurate as I only just got in a cold house0 -
Note sure what you mean the only two controls are one for alarm and the other for the clock plus alarm on/off
I took battery out now and despite inserting it in correct way the clock doesnt work, the battery is fully charged
I said it the instruction said it takes 1xAA battery actually there is no instruction it just says that on the bookIt is easy to take the back off and rotate the mechanism to the correct known temperature. It is then correctly calibrated.
EDIT had to shove some metal in between the battery terminals as there is to bigger gap for battery to connect0
