M&S CREDIT CARD 23%apR

I am stuck with £5000 on my M&S card and a huge apr rate which is crippling me and am only able to make the miminum payment. I have a poor credit rating - what options do I have here??? I have phoned them to ask for a interest rate reduction with no joy.

Is this your only debt? If you can't afford the payments, write to them asking to cancel the card but can they freeze the interest and make an offer of payment, enclose your incomings and outgoings too.

I would suggest a balance transfer with a few months at 0% but I guess it would be out of the question if you don't have a good credit rating.
My suggestion and/or advice is my own and it is up to you if you follow it, please check the advice given before acting on it.
