    Debt-free and Proud!
I have been so rubbish this month and I feel very weepy today.

I spent on eBay for some clothes and stuff, and I must have gone over budget elsewhere cos suddenly I have £12 to last me till January 6!!! Am so scared.

I shoudl be getting some money from my second job but I don;t know when it will come in, and it was SUPPOSED to be going towards my debts anyway, but now I need it just to live on.

Plus I feel miserable cos I am learning piano. I bought a piano off eBay for £200 and it doesn;t have touch sensitive keys, which I now need, so I have to buy another one and they are around £400 second-hand and I can;t afford it but I can't practice properly without one!! What to do??

Oh! I just feel so unhappy today. Want to go to bed and never get out of it again. I hate Christmas. It sucks. :(:(:(

  • Oh hunny! I can't help much but I can offer big hugs :grouphug: and a virtual cup of tea (with virtual cake of course). Don't let it get you down too much, if you have to use some money from your second job, use a little. You have done really really well, I'm aiming to have a signature just like yours!

Piano stuff - I play/teach piano and I have an upright which I got through a freeads paper. They can be pretty cheap, especially if people are selling them because they belonged to a late relative (don't mean to sound harsh on that). Do you know someone who would know if it was a good piano? Make sure it has a metal frame inside and not a wooden one. Check all the keys from the inside and out and have a good bash on the pedals and bass keys. I've said all that, and you may have been talking about an electric piano!

Anyway, chin up my dear, you're one of my MSE Debtfree Wannabe pedastal girls!!

    Thanks hon!

I think I need a digital piano as I have a housemate - I know an acoustic would be better, nicer and cost about £60!

I don't feel very inspirational, but thanks so much hon.

Gonna leave the piano issue till 2006 - I cannot deal with it now.

  • I am feeling positive at the moment as I only had my 'lightbulb moment' about 3 weeks ago and am excited about paying off my debt and getting it sorted once and for all.

I am actually enjoying trying out new recipes, looking for bargins, watching what I spend and taking care of my money and paying the debt off is rewarding and keeps you motivated.

I am worried though as this may just be an initial feeling, what if the motivation fades and I struggle with it all - oh thats negative thinking!!! Back to the positive thinking, I AM GONNA DO IT!!!!

Plus I had to cancel my travel plans to pay off my debt and I just want to pay it off so that I can go travelling, that is keeping me going.

And the thought of one day seeing my bank in credit and some savings in my accounts excites me sooooo much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
