Make rubber gloves last longer
Comments
-
I've discovered a way to make rubber gloves last a lot longer. After leaving gloves out next to the sink the fingers would stick together (the rubber was deteriorating and melting) even sometimes after one week and I would be getting through many pairs.
So now after the washing up has been done I rinse the fingers of the gloves under the tap (to remove any soap), towel dry them and place them in the fridge. They go inside the fridge door. The pair I am using currently I have had for many months and they are still going strong. I make sure my fridge is not too cold (no icing up). The gloves are not cold when I put them on and they soon warm up anyway with the hot washing up water.
I'm now saving myself at least £5 a year on rubber gloves!0
