Help - I need a female superhero costume!

I need your help to get any female superhero costume for myself to attend a party in November. Any advice gratefully received - ideas and where to get one CHEAP! I have trawled Ebay and the like but the prices start at about £25 and for a one off party (and never to be worn again) that is pretty steep! I am no good with a needle so please dont suggest making one! Not fussy on the "hero" involved but as a fortysomething female one that doesn't show a lot of flesh! :eek: Any advice will be much appreciated.

i'm not sure if this might show too much flesh but argos have got a superwoman costume reduced to £10...

Mrs Incredible - red tights/leggings and red long sleeved top. Blsck shorts (can be worn again or get cheap) black gloves and make a black eye mask. Print incredibles logo off and pin to top.

Red out fit can be used for a devil too just need horns so would do another party!

If you have got a Matalan near you, I was in there the other day and they had a HUGE range of different costumes in the party department. I didnt notice the price as I wasnt looking for a costume lol, but Matalan prices are usually pretty good.

Thanks, but the only one I can see reduced is £19.99. Thanks for the other suggestions also - keep 'em coming!

Dress as a woman with all the roles we have to do: cleaner, mother, professional etc

Put on your work suit and heels, put a pinny over it with dusters etc out of the pockets, and a rucksack with kids toys sticking out of the top.

Have you tried charity shops? I got a great Wonder Woman costume for under a tenner.

That is brilliant! I never thought of it like that - I suppose we are mother, wife, daughter, friend, colleague - you are SO RIGHT - I may go as SUPERMUM - doer of all things good! At least the costume would be easy and cheap!!!!:rotfl: :T
