Hi all,
Just a quick post. My fixed rate mortgage with NR expires very shortly, but part of the original agreement was that I pay a few hundred pound fee in the event I leave them when my fixed rate expires - this is for help looking for a new lender. Is this correct and legal?
The other thing is that if go to Lloyds TSB, I won't have to pay this fee.

If you mean an exit fee, yes, perfectly fair and legal.0

well if you go to C&G you won't have to pay it as you said. So pay N Rock their due fee and you won't have to post this sort of post again. If you grab your mortgage offer from behind the fridge it will say that you have to pay it and they will have on file your signature that you will pay on redemption.I am a Mortgage Adviser
