£3 in iceland on 3 tins of soup, some coffee whitener and a toothbrush.
But I don't really count it as my spending as it came from the joint account. So is counted as household spending.
For christmas present what about a nice box of choccies. Sainsburys have terrys all gold plain and milk for £3.98 for two boxes. And they some bottles of sparkling wine for £2.99 a bottle and that is suppose to be half price.
No other ideas as I am struggling for my gran as she lives in a old peoples home. So has no real needs and is not interested in much. Box of jelly sweets and a couple of hankies me thinks.

I have spent £25 on a xmas tree from habitat, not very money saving, but it is nice. £9.99 in Post Office for Xmas card stamps and a bottle gift bag..
Working in the Pub tonight so will make all of that back... but also need money for the weekend too... hmm

Hello GonnaDoIT,
Try this as a first step..... If your number 3 key has a hash sign above the 3 then press <Shift> 3 ... see if that produces a £ sign in a document.
If not, then we will have to look to see what type of keyboard you have and whether or not it is set up for English/UK in <Start><Settings><Regional Options>. You may want to check the settings anyway.
