The Poole Extra store has absolutely loads of stuff (6pm today), but the aisle was full of people......I put three things in the trolley, but, I was SO good, and I put them all back as I've bought all my present and I would have being buying them for the sake of it.

They had some shower cd radios in the Sheffield Abbeydale Rd store today - a good buy at £20!0

Visited my local Tesco today.. Was pleased to find 1/2 price sale on christmas decorations and their "mad about" gifts range. I got loads of good stocking fillers for £2:50 and less. They even had some nice little gifts for girls in the sale. Excellent.. big up for Tesco. :santa2:0

I went back!!! (OH's son works there part time and phoned to say there would be loads of meat with 95% off at 8pm!) I bought a world band radio for £4 for the bathroom - was very pleased! (and lots loads of very very cheap meat!)

I'm a bit annoyed - went into Tesco to fill up with Stocking fillas and there was a lovely little half-price racing car and a hovercrafte but as I was about to put them in my basket some staff members swooped and nabbed the lot to put in the staff room and to pay for later.
C'mon - how about leaving some for the customers??? There was a bloke there openiong boxees and re-stocking and as fast as he was opening the boxes, these staff members were grabbing the stock and going on about the brilliant bargains - yeah they are - Can I have one please??
I managed to get a makeup set, projecting clock and a notepad - that was it!!Noli nothis permittere te terere

The Umbella's in a tin (oblong about 7"x3") are the slim light weight ones selling in M&S for £15 and in Next for £10 - at £2.50 they're a great stocking filler
Just thought I'd say because you can't tell from the tin! I bought one on the off chance - mine is baby blue (doesn't tell you the colour so maybe they all are)
Hope this helps someone0
