It does pay to stay firm and not give in to there scare tactics.
  • Hi, I was on a few days agp about this lot, today I too have received a letter from them saying they regret that i have choosen not to deal with the matter???!!!( I offered a monthly payment they laughed & said they wouldn`t accept installments!?) but i see some on this site are doing.
Anyway the letter then says it`s going to their pre-litigation system....then solisitors who on or around 3rd Dec will commence legal action. THEN...(sorry about this) basically thy say I will have the Bailiffs at my door with a warrant of execution.

Finally at the bottom of this it says must contact them b4 Wed of this week 2 discuss the most suitable method of payment to clear the balance???Er sorry but ```I`ve tried this & got laughed at.
Any legal eagles out there? When I mentioned solicitors again their friendly staff burst out laughing & put the phone down on me!!!!

    Help guys!

    Hiya

    Stand your ground!!

You have tried to come to an arrangement with these people. They have not listened. You can't pay what you can't afford.

Statute barred debt tell them to go to hell and report them.
But surely they spent it so even if its been 6 years they should repay it !
Changed your tune a bit BH .

If you are sure its statue barred , tell them to bog off ! Its a standard scare tactic . For them to go to court it will cost several hundreds of pound . So stand your ground .
Well done ! And a lesson to all . Never believe what these parasite say .
