The definitive encyclopaedia has always been the Nick Georgano book. Is his latest offering what you're looking for? If so, a discount from $599 to £25 sounds good to me!

this is the one I've seen, and appears to be a (much) cheaper version!!

Unfortunately it's out of stock, and appears to be elsewhere too, unless anyone else can help with an idea where to look?

thanks les. I've tried with amazon but they were out of stock and I worried about ordering it from the us and it arriving in time.
I've checked on booksfirst, and that seems really promising, esp as it is £17.99 inc p+p. I've emailed them to confirm stock availability first before I order though, as timesonline (where the link sends you to) have had stock issues in my experience in the past! Here's hoping though!!

Also looking for....guinness book of records 2006. The book people have it on offer for a fiver, but it's out of stock - surprise surprise, lol!! anyone know anywhere else selling it for under a tenner delivered?

Hi Mum...are you sure Amazon UK have no stock? It gives an estimated despatch date for tomorrow.

As for Guiness 2006, I've seen it in our local 'Works' remainder book shop at half price I think. That's about £10.

just checked amazon again and you are quite right! I'll give the times til tmrw to come back to me re their stock, and if no reply, try ordering from amazon.

I'll check out the works online and see if I can get it from there (very difficult for me to get into town!)

just phoned the times book shop (no reply to my email, AND an 0870 number, grrr).
They dont carry any stock, and order direct from suppliers as they receive an order. Delivery is usually 2 weeks so I def wouldnt get it for xmas!

Just considering ordering from amazon. I worry about them though as their delivery seems to be either immediate or never!! I've another order with them placed 11dec, due for delivery 20-22 dec, but if it doesnt turn up i'm stuck!
