Credit checks

my partner is worried when you apply for various offers, the credit check taken against you shows up on your credit record, and can be detrimental as it shows so many enquiries. Is this true?

    That's what I thought too. Well, in fact I thought that whenever you apply and you are turned down it goes against you in your credit record. But I could be wrong!
  • Yes, the more apps you make and the worse it is, whether you're accepted or refused. On the stoozing front it's normally advised to apply for 2 credit cards every 4 months.
    2p off is still 2p off!
