Quick Question For My Sister

in Cutting tax
Hi
My sister Pays full rent (council) and Council Tax she works full time and goes to uni part time. She has a partner (who is a house husband) and two little ones in Primary school. She earns about £13200 pa before tax, and gets working Tax and CTC.
Is she entitled to any discounts on her Rent or CouncilTax.
And will she be entitled to Free school meals.
I have printed her a form to fill in to be sure, but would like to know if she should bother filling it in.
Any nice advice is welcome.:p

Your question is way out of my comfort zone so this is just a suggestion. Age Concern has a “benefits checker” here.

There’s no reason why non-wrinkles can’t use it and I would guess its good enough to at least give you an idea whether it is worth filling the claim form.0 -
school meals are only for those on income support (and possibly JSA) I think.0
