If a hire purchase company agrees to take back a car in full and final settlement of the outstanding balance, how quickly do they 'repossess' the car ?

Black horse took 3 months, they collect them and drive them straight to the nearest auction, job done."YOU WANT THE CASH? YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE CASH"0

Make sure you get written confirmation that possesion of the car is in exchange for car. We have had a few posters with this problem, where 6 months down the line the company sends a debt chasing letter where they were told it was all clear. Be careful.0
