6 x 125mm extension lengths
1 x 125mm vertical adapter
1 x 125mm 90 degree bend
6 x 125mm flue brackets
Total material cost (inc VAT): £542

I'd advise you to get a few more quotes, I had a gas fiitter in and the guy I finally got was only 1/3 rd the price of the first quote.....
£611 for labour seems extreme, did he say how long the job would take?0 -

no he didnt but i suspect only a day or 2 at most!
Hoping NHBC insurance will pay for it as its a builders defect (propery 5 years old but have been in discussioins with nhbc as its a danger and has never been installed corrrectly).
if not hoping buildings insurance will pay for it????
worst case is I have to pay myself in which case I'll def get a few more quotes (if I can as it was really hard to get this one - most installers dont want to run about giving quotes!)0 -
