    Hello again
Just filled 2 binliners full of old/toosmall clothes from the kids rooms, their drawers are all tidy and look so much better, going to tackle my wardrobe now I'm on a roll.
Just having really tasty lunch that was suggested at WW last night-line a muffin tin with a slice of bread cut into triangles, drop in an egg and cook for 15-20 mins at 160-180degrees C, lovely and only 2.5 pts each.
LG your brave going to cadbury world, I hate the gym so hoping I can do it without too.
Diva take it easy n put your feet up

Ooooo before I forget my friend (the one who is into Gyrocopters) is going to be on Radio York this lunch time, sometime between 1.30 and 1.50 talking about Spice and Gyrocopters. Spice are 'The UK's largest Multi-Activity Adventure, Sports & Social Group' and they hope to recruit their 100,000 member soon hence the interview on Radio York if any of you fancy listening in :)

  • Afternoon guys and dolls. Hope everyone is well and welcome to any newbies/returners. Have not done much apart from laundry and showering. Still have a cold  My aims for the rest of the day are wash up, do laundry and go to the library and post office.

AnW's Mum, are the school okay with you now regarding the loo roll situation?

Good afternoon, sorry but don't think I am going to be able to keep up with everyones news etc this week, internets being too slow. Just been shopping, strange how little you can buy when just buying what you need.....trying not to overstock caravan and have to pack it all to take home.

We've had hail stones but no snow, much to the big kids (DPs) disappointment, he likes snow for some strange reason.

Going to try to have a coffee and then vacuum, DS2s being kicked out to play football with DP if they like it or not!! Ds1 will just have to watch and moan.
One day I might be more organised...........

Seem to be, they put the paper back in the toilets for the last week. I should really try and get a letter together before they go back to school (next Tues as just realised Mon is inset day!) along the lines of deprivation of basic human rights (cheers lil_me ;) )etc. The other thing is my Dad has been asked if he will be a governor so could have more influence from the inside so to speak!

Managed to get tonight's dinner (Lamb Shanks in Red Wine) into the slow cooker before shooting off to work this morning - I'm here all day. No kids and the spare room is devoid of a bed and v. tidy (sold double bed on eBay last week as we are getting a single+trundle in there instead), so I shall attack our bedroom when I get home tonight. DH has got a horrible cold - the first one he's had for a couple of years. Bless him, he had a dreadful night last night, running a fever and coughing fit to bust so I'll put nice fresh linen on the bed, blitz the bedside cabinets and give the ensuite good going over while DH sees the chap who is coming to quote for the boiler etc.

Ouch, Diva, you poor thing! I sympathise, especially with the knees - I damaged my left knee badly about 3 years ago and it has bugged me on and off ever since - I am now waiting for a hospital appointment for them to stick a camera in to see what the problem is  ! Hope you're feeling better soon!
