Removing wonderweb from wrong side of material

 Not one of my better days. Have managed to turn up 1 leg of trousers inside out :o. Any idea how I can remove it - it is mostly still 'white'. DK where it was bought from but it was a lot thicker than usual. Trousers are 100% polyester (DD's £5 bargain )

Please rescue me from dog house :o

  • I havn't used wonderweb in years because I always found it came undone when washed. If it hasn't improved too much could you not just soak it in soapy water?

    Good luck.

I haven't actually had to do this myself, but if I had done the same thing I think I would try ironing it to get the glue to remelt, then open up the turned up bit and reiron with a bit of scrap fabric on the gluey bit - take off the scrap fabric before the glue resets and hopefully it will take off most of the glue. Might have to do it more than once to get all the glue off.
