I havn't used wonderweb in years because I always found it came undone when washed. If it hasn't improved too much could you not just soak it in soapy water?

I haven't actually had to do this myself, but if I had done the same thing I think I would try ironing it to get the glue to remelt, then open up the turned up bit and reiron with a bit of scrap fabric on the gluey bit - take off the scrap fabric before the glue resets and hopefully it will take off most of the glue.
