Don't know of any specific good deals but I just wanna say - good choice. Welcome to the world of 3,000 pages from a £10 cartridge :D

    Try https://www.ebuyer.com and https://www.dabs.com for a start

And I would recommend HP well - our laser is 10 years old and still works good as new :T

didnt find anything too great, however dabs.com have a 'used' stock section, got a 320quid networked lexmark laser with a dodgy box for 152 :)

money saving excellence for me :)

I am considering a laser printer myself. At the moment I have a Lexmark inkjet and the cost of the cartridges is just obscene.

However I have read somewhere that laser printer only do black&white. True or false?

Would recommend Samsung - I have a colour and a mono one (around £300 and £80 respectively). As you said, replacing all the toner in the colour model will cost around £350 for 5,000 pages (may be some cheaper carts around if/when I get there), the mono toner is around £40 for 3,000 pages. Original carts shipped with the printers are supposedly good for 1,000 to 1,500 pages (I've replaced a mono one - it probably went over the 1,000 page mark but can't say I counted..). Note that lasers aren't as good as inkjets for photo printing.
