yeah, they ARE a US site, but if you register with them, they will quote prices in sterling. plus, they charge you in sterling.

    so, no conversion charges etc.

plus, i've never paid duty on items received either, bonus!

I looked at the USA site. Although the prices are cheaper, I found a few possible drawbacks.

    A) Although one member here has not been charged Duty by Customs and Excise. If they decide to look at your package (this is pot luck), you will be liable and the charge will go on top of what you are already paying.

    B) Buying from abroad doesn't give you the same protection as buying in the UK. If they send the wrong lenses, if there is a problem with the order. You could not rely on UK laws to protect you or your money. Our laws will not protect you if you buy abroad.

I think I'll stick to Postoptics. They have always been reliable, very quick and efficient service, and a damn sight cheaper than we used to pay at the optitions (about half the price).

I understand your concerns, but even WITH postage, i found them to be the cheapest i could find (for 3 month supply of focus dailies)

an added bonus for me, i guess, is that because they do not require a prescription, i can order what i actually need without having to fax my presciption (vision express refuse to release mine because they claim i did not attend an "aftercare" session, when i did-liars!)

if anyone knows any cheaper sites, let me know
