Release from OR, what does this mean??

Hi,
My other half went BR end of March and yesterday got a letter for his informtion to say that there was insufficient assests to be released and that the OR is being released from being his trustee. There was also a statement of fees paid and cost of BR, again for his info.
What does all of this mean??
Thanks for any help

I had one of those too and from what i can gather it means there is no likelyhood of them getting any money ect to go towards the bc fees ect. I would also say that he may hear about discharge soon as from the few i have heard this happen to it appears to go hand in hand with ED or AD.Fingers crossed for your OH.Dx

    For some. ;)

Although it was 4 (ish) months after I got that same letter before my initial ED paperwork came through, and then anther 3 and a bit before it actually happened.

The letter is a good sign, but you will just have to wait and see.
ED? AD? What are they short for?

AD = Automatic Discharge (What happens when you are automatically discharged after 12 months).

ED = Early Discharge (Discharged early at the discretion of your OR if your case can be wrapped up soon enough).

I wonder if this form also have to be produced for government reasons, ie that no money has been avaibable to pay for the costs of BR, as they surely have to account back to someone if no money has been there to be taken against such costs.
