Have recently gone bankrupt and OR have asked me to pay £400 a month for 3 years. One of my problems is that I borrowed some money from my parents who took out a remortgage for me. I told the OR that i need to pay £350 a month to them or they could lose there home. The OR have said they have to go down as creditors, so the £350 is not taken into account on my disposable income. I tried to talk to OR about the situation but they were adament they couldnt help. Does anyone have any advise on this situation? Also advise on what i can put down as outgoings which may reduce the sum the OR wants from me.
Many thanks

I am sorry but the OR is perfectly correct in his assesment and your parents are creditors.
Please can you put the SOA that the OR allowed you up here and we can check it over for you and have a look see if there is any other way to find a bit more money.
Please also tell us how many people it is for and if you have any pets.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
Hi. The OR is quite correct in what he is saying i am afraid. If you post your household income and expenditure on here we can have a look to make sure you are claiming all you should be. Also we would need to know how many adults and children in your household.DxFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau

Just from a quick look at the SOA you just posted, how about contents insurance? You didn't mention if the £50 for the car includes; road tax, insurance, MOT and repairs. If it does then this might be able to be adjusted.
Also you haven't included holidays, dentist or clothing.

Great minds and all that. At least it shows that we are singing from the same hymn sheet and the OP knows he is getting good information.
Rankov put your SOA up using this template when you've finished we will give it a final look over.

Just tell the OR that you under estimated some of your expenses.
May I ask who advised you about your BR?BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0
