Need to buy new animal hoover???

Does anyone know of any stores that do part exchange on hoovers? Also which would be the best comparison We do have a smaller dyson but it doesn't do very well with animal hair so It has to go before I go insane.

Thanks for any help and advice

I would recommend a Meile TT5000 Cat and Dog, not cheap but is head and shoulders better than the old Dyson Dc05 that I've pensioned off.
Don't know of anyone doing PX sorry.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

I used to have a Dyson animal and it was ok, just ok. It broke a few months ago and I bought a Sebo - can't remeber exact model name but its one they recommend for animals.

Not over the moon with it I have to say, wish I had waited and saved a bit more and bought the Miele - friend of mine has one and is far better than the Sebo.
Aim to win in 2013 - a holiday somewhere nice, New York break, treats for family & friends & some cash would be lovely!!!
  • tesco had a pet hoover dyson i think reduced down to £37, i don't know if this was just a one off or national but maybe worth a look.

I bought a re-con Animal from EBAY, very very good at picking after 3 dogs and 2 kids

The Animal Dyson is idential to all the others, they just have a handheld attachment that you can use on sofa's etc, same with Mielle we had one of those but thought it was rubbish

Another vote for the miele, great at picking up hair, dirt, easy and light to use, and so tough and reliable. Mine has been bashed around by a less than careful OH, had bits knocked off, dropped and generally had a rough ride, but still works brilliantly. My last meile (pre-dog days), was still going stong after 15 years, only replaced with this one because it wasn't designed for pet hair. Having the self-sealing bags, rather than bagless, means no mess/dust when emptying, and the bags last for ages.
    Anytime;)
  • Do not buy the Vax perfomance pets bagless cylinder.
I used mine twice before stuffing it in a cupboard. Had a dyson before that which wasn't great for dog hairs. I've now bought a henry which is much better.

Highly reccommend this one too.Have a black lab who leaves hair everywhere and this cleaner is a dream-totally effortless compared to my previous cleaner-have arm and back problems and its easy for me so a double bonus. The hose is telescopic so easy on back.
    hope this helps:j
