That question was directed at Toughluck who suggested a higher rate/lower fee might be better. I hadn't seen any around so was asking for some suggestions.
I'd rather not pay £1317 now for tracker then again a few months down the line to go fixed.
Toughluck is right about looking carefully at the fees.
The fee on the fixed rate may not be £1300 again, but you are right in the though process of having to pay two arrangement fees
However if you are thinking of changing to a fixed rate so soon, should you be looking at trackers in the first place.
All indications are BoE will reduce rates again, however lenders are currently withdrawing tracker deals and re-pricing them higher. Some fixed rates have come down slightly, but there is still little confidence between lenders.
